Wealthy industrialist, Nanda, is enraged when he finds out that his eldest son, Ramesh, has fallen in love with a poor woman, Seema, and wants to marry her. He asks his son that if he marries her, he will exclude him from his will. In answer to that, Ramesh marries Seema and leaves the Nanda household. When Nanda's younger son, Ravi, returns home he is told that his brother is away on business. Ravi does find out that Ramesh had been asked to leave by their father. He manages to convince his dad to change his mind about Ramesh, and sets off to find Ramesh. He finds out that Ramesh and Seema are no longer alive, but Seema had given birth to a son, and left him in the care of her sister, Kanchan. Ravi meets Kanchan, and both fall in love with each other. When Kanchan finds out that Ravi is Nanda's son, she is angry, and refuses to have to do anything with Ravi, as she is sure that she too will be rejected by Nanda, when he finds out that she is poor, and related to Seema.

The Film Life Mein Time Nahi Hai Kisi Ko is a story of a joint family. The story revolves around a newly wed couple which faces issues due to the death of a family member. The story highlights the conflicts and difference in ideology between old generation and new generation blended with humour and fun. It shows how the business of the generation leads to ignorance of its own family members.

'Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Ata Hai' revolves around the Pintos and the people connected to them. There's Albert who's pretty much angry at everybody. His brother Dominic who thinks it's better to be jobless than to work an underpaid job, his patient sister Joan who works at a sari shop, his independent girlfriend Stella who feels under-appreciated by her boyfriend, his father and his colleagues, client and Stella's family. The film is very much a social commentary about Middle-class life in Bombay during the late ’70s and the conflicts arising in the labour force because workers were getting severely underpaid.

Albert leaves his house one morning without telling anyone where he is going. His girlfriend Stella files a complaint with the police and when he doesn't return after days, she begins to fear. What she doesn't know is that Albert is traversing a road journey from Mumbai to Goa. Nayar who drives the vehicle accompanies him on his mission. Punctuating their cynical, witty and devastating conversations, we see Albert's flashbacks of a world where he and Stella try and weave a life together. Albert's anger stems from experiences that life has presented to him. It is this anger that is taking him on a journey to settle a score and enable him to lead a life of dignity and hope.

A stale tale, the story begins with Cauvery (priyamani), sister of the tough police commissioner Srihari Prasad (srihari). She comes across an IPS aspirant Kitty (sreenagara) at a chess match and they become friends. Meanwhile, Srihari Prasad begins to suspect his sister and thinks Kitty is Cauvery's boyfriend. Actually, Cauvery is in love with another guy and she wants to get married to him at the temple town of Kukke.
